MycoSynVac will be present at the 21st Congress of the International Organization for Mycoplasmology in Brisbane

Some of the project partners will assist to this Congress that will be held from July 3rd to July 7th in Brisbane (Australia) and is the main meeting point for Mycoplasma researchers.

On top of that, Dr. Lluch-Senar, co-coordinator of the project at the CRG, is scheduled to present on Monday, July 4th at 2:00 pm (GMT +10). As part of her presentation, Dr. Lluch-Senar will provide an overview of the MycoSynVac aim, engineering Mycoplasma pneumoniae as minimal chassis to be used in animal vaccines.

This Congress, held biennially since 1976, supports direct exchange of recent progress in mycoplasmology and helps to establish research goals and partnerships for the future. The IOM Congress also provides a venue for career development, networking and formal recognition of early career achievements by the next generation of young scientists. About 250 delegates representing more than 30 countries are expected to attend, based on past IOM Congresses held in the U.S., U.K., Europe, Israel, Turkey, China, Japan, Brazil and Australia.
