Objectives:
1) Map the concerns regarding animal vaccines obtained by synthetic biology approaches among experts and nonexperts (lay-persons).
2) Assess the risk of using genetically modified M. pneumoniae for vaccination in animals used for food production.
3) Assess the possible ethical implications of production and use of animal vaccine based on synthetic biology.
